Tasting notes :
Colour : amber, intense and deep.
Nose : great aromatic depth. Notes of coffee and roasted aromas.
Palate : notes of rancio. Superb balance between oak and spices. Remarkable complexity.
Finish : lingering, deep and elegant.
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
Ageing : 30 years in French oak casks.
Bottled in 2026.
Vintage : 1995. Perfect conditions. In Charente, the vintage was characterised by a favourable growing season, with a generally hot and dry summer, conducive to the even ripening of the grapes. The mild late summer allowed the harvest to take place under excellent sanitary conditions.
