Tasting notes :
Colour : deep amber with bright golden highlights.
Nose : rich aromatic palette with notes of dark chocolate, roasted dried fruit and aromas of aged oak.
Palate : balanced and refined, with notes of wood, honey and vanilla.
Finish : long and refined.
Cru : Grande Champagne, 1st in the Cognac AOC. This is more than 13,200 hectares of vines dedicated to the production of white wines for the production of Cognac. The soils of the appellation area are typically clay-limestone. Double distillation produces fine eaux-de-vie with a predominantly floral bouquet. They reach full maturity after long ageing in oak barrels.
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
Ageing : minimum 50 years in French oak barrels.
