Founded in 1862, Meukow Cognac is an emblematic house whose history and expertise are among the most respected in the world of spirits. Located in the heart of France's Cognac region, Meukow is renowned for the exceptional quality of its products and the elegance of its cognacs.
The origins of Meukow Cognac go back to the initiative of two Russian brothers, Auguste-Christophe and Gustav Meukow, commissioned by Tsar Alexander II to secure the supply of cognac to the Russian imperial court. They founded the House of Meukow and established a tradition of excellence and innovation that continues to this day.
The production of Meukow cognacs is based on a rigorous selection of grapes and perfect mastery of the distillation process. The eaux-de-vie are carefully distilled and aged in French oak barrels, where they acquire their complex aromas and characteristic smoothness.
